2. Eligibility and User Account

2.1. Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use Jomconnect. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2.2. Account Creation: To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

2.3. Prohibited Users: We reserve the right to refuse access to individuals who have been suspended or banned for violating these Terms or applicable laws.

3. User Responsibilities

3.1. Acceptable Use:

You agree to use Jomconnect responsibly and legally, in line with Malaysia's laws, including but not limited to the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998, the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, and any anti-cyberbullying and anti-defamation laws.
You will not post, upload, or share content that is false, misleading, harmful, harassing, discriminatory, or illegal.
Content shared on Jomconnect must align with our platform's values and be Muslim-friendly. This includes promoting businesses, services, and content that adhere to ethical practices, and are respectful of Islamic principles.

3.2. Content Ownership:

You retain ownership of the content you upload ("User Content"), but by posting, you grant Jomconnect a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote your content.
You must ensure you have the rights to share any User Content you post.

3.3. Prohibited Activities: You must not:

Use the Platform for fraudulent purposes.
Post or share harmful software, spam, or phishing links.
Violate privacy rights, including sharing sensitive personal data without consent.
Harass, defame, or bully other users or entities.
Infringe intellectual property rights.
Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to access the Platform without permission.
Promoting or advertising non-halal products or services.
Sharing content that is disrespectful towards Islamic beliefs and practices.
Uploading materials that include inappropriate, offensive, or haram content.
Encouraging or facilitating activities contrary to Islamic ethics and values.

3.4. Compliance with Malaysian Law: Users must adhere to Malaysia's laws, including:

Avoid spreading false news under Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act (CMA).
Avoid creating or distributing offensive, seditious, or obscene materials online.

4. Platform Content and Intellectual Property

4.1. Our Content: All trademarks, logos, features, and content provided on the Platform ("Jomconnect Content") are owned by Jomconnect or its licensors.

4.2. Limited License: You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use Jomconnect Content solely for personal and business purposes on the Platform. You may not copy, reproduce, or exploit Jomconnect Content for commercial purposes without our express consent.

5. Privacy Policy

5.1. Your use of Jomconnect is subject to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2010.
